We realize that the support of friends and family is important to the healing process, so we make it easy for them to visit our patients. In some cases, family members may stay overnight with their loved one.
However, we do ask that visitors follow a few common-sense guidelines designed to keep our patients safe and comfortable. Before visiting, consider whether the patient feels well enough to spend time with you. Also, limit the number of visitors and the amount of time spent with the patient based on their condition. And, during flu season, be especially mindful of visiting—or not—if you are experiencing any symptoms that could be transmitted to our patients and staff.
